An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Children’s Services Lead to support the co-ordination and operational management of Family Support within Hodge Hill District, as part of Birmingham Forward Steps Early Years Health and Well Being Service.

 

The role involves providing leadership for all Family Support services; that secures their success and improvement, ensuring a high quality service provision for all children Under 5 and their parents/carers.

 

You will work proactively with all other relevant partners and promote the continuous improvement across the service to ensure the very best outcomes for children and their families; as set out in the contract requirement.

 

The post holder will have excellent communications skills and be confident in responding to the needs of service users and professionals contacting the service.

 

You will be based at Anthony Road and Dyson Children’s Centres’, however need to demonstrate a flexibility to work across the district as required. A car driver and access to a car for work purposes is desirable.

 

An in-depth understanding of safeguarding children and confidentiality are essential.
