Spurgeons has always appreciated the great work being done by many churches in their communities. First through our church partnership projects and then the Spurgeons Network, we’ve actively encouraged churches and Christians to connect with us and each other. Our shared faith motivation and desire to serve children and families means that linking up with churches is really important to us, especially in areas where we’re already working.
Together for Families is a Spurgeons initiative to do just that in Peterborough, East Northants and Wiltshire where we already provide Children’s Centres and Family Support services. We’ve secured additional funding for a part-time worker in each area to support churches in their work and develop new activities, especially in disadvantaged communities or where there are high levels of rural or social isolation.
There are lots of other ways to get involved, so if you are based near one of our services, please get in touch.
Spurgeons would not be here without the generous support and involvement of churches and Christians across all denominations.

Spurgeons would not be here, 150 years after it was founded, without the generous support and involvement of churches and Christians across all denominations. Over that time, prayer support, gifts in kind, volunteering and donations received from churches all over the country have been an immense contribution to our charitable work.
