Every Child Week

Every Child Week
24–30 September 2017

Support ‘Every Child Week’ and help give hope to every child.

As a national week of hope for every child, we
want to join forces with you and pledge to help give vulnerable children living in the UK the chance of a better future.

Around 400,000 children are classed by child protection service as being in need.

Over 3.9 million children are living in poverty in the UK today.

Your help can make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable children and families across England. Let’s work together and give hope to every child.

Some ideas to get you started…

Wear orange to work/school day

Bake orange cakes, wear orange clothes and encourage your friends or colleages to do the same. It’s a fun way to get people involved!

Quiz night

Brush up on your general knowledge and
get quizzical!

Cake bake sale

Nothing says fundraising like cake! Ask others to do their best Mary Berry impersonation and donate their home baked creations for the sale!

Team challenge

An opportunity to team build with friends or
colleagues, and undertake a personal challenge
at the same time. Whether you want to do
a Tough Mudder, or a sponsored run/walk, it
can be a fun and rewarding way to fundraise.
Together you can make a real difference.

With some donated goods, a raffle can be an easy way of raising funds. Do you feel lucky?

A personal challenge

If you’ve always wanted to know if you could run a half marathon, now’s the time to find out.
Register for one of the many organised running events around the UK and ask your friends for sponsorship.

Whether you host an event of your own; undertake a sponsored activity; or help us spread the word – every pledge counts.

Media enquiries

We welcome enquiries from members of the press and also from partner organisations wishing to mention a Spurgeons’ project, service or event in media activity.

If you would like to speak to our press team, please contact Rachel or Lauren on 01933 417436 or email press@spurgeons.org.

Our Brand Guidelines

If you wish to feature a Spurgeons’ service, project or event in your own PR, marketing or media activity, we’d appreciate it if you could read our Brand Guidelines first. These explain our vision, values and key messages and they set out how our logo and brand identity should be used by us and by our partner organisations.
