Our children’s centres are places where all families with children 0-5 years are able to find the advice and parenting support they need. While you will not be working directly with families, your administrative support skills will have a real impact both on your colleagues and our clients.
We are looking for a Senior Practitioner in Administration to lead the team of adminstrators/welcomers as first contact for families and visitors telephoning or coming to the Children’s Centres in South Wiltshire.
The role is varied and at times demanding so a confident and welcoming manner is essential, as is the ability to multi-task. Your working day will be varied and could include; using your Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook) to produce different documents, registering families and their attendance on to the children’s centre database, ensuring the environment is safe and welcoming. You will have a good eye for detail, able to work to high standards around data entry and collation. You will also be managing a team on delivering effective administration support to all South Wiltshire colleagues.
Spurgeons will help you every step of the way in your role, making sure that you feel supported and providing you with relevant training.
