Together with Families

Together with Families is a part of our children’s centre and family centre teams. Each area's work is different but is always connected to church, faith or community groups.

Our Together with Families workers are part of Spurgeons children's and family centres’ teams.

Their work is different in each area but is always connected to church, faith or community groups who serve and care about children and families in their local area.

Parenting and support for families

These regular groups and activities connect families with each other to provide practical, emotional and social support for both parents and children. We can also provide support for families with links to more specialist services through our children's and family centres colleagues and community networks.

We support churches to develop their existing groups or get new things off the ground and can provide guidance for group leaders and training for volunteers.

Thank you for all your help, guidance and support with the introduction of Toddlers at The Tin…we appreciated all that you did to help during a very difficult time for anyone involved in groups of this kind. It now provides an invaluable resource to the local community.
