Spurgeons Young Carers Service Oxfordshire

The young carers service supports children and young people aged 0-25 whose life is impacted by the responsibility of care for an adult or sibling with:

Referrals are received from a wide range of professionals and are followed up with a home visit to assess the level of care being provided. Support is targeted so that the young carers with higher caring responsibilities receive the highest level of support.

We work in conjunction with the Early Intervention Hubs and school partnerships across the county to provide support via groups, and activities in the school holidays. A regular newsletter is produced to keep in touch with the young carers.

The service is funded by Oxfordshire County Council and fundraises to pay for additional trips and activities for young carers.
